Keller UK has taken delivery of the world’s first Soilmec SF55 CFA piling rig.
The new rig has the most up to date technology to provide better performance, improved safety features and increased efficiency and reliability.
"The new machine is part of our commitment to modernise our fleet of CFA rigs to offer a better service to our customers”, said Edd Collis, Keller UK’s operations manager for CFA piling.
“We are delighted to have taken delivery of the world’s first SF55 and look forward to it becoming a key part of our expanding fleet.”
The new rig has the latest Cummins diesel engine which conforms to EU stage V emission standards and offers new fuel reduction and noise reduction capability.
It can dig to 27m with a maximum pile diameter of 900mm and is fully instrumented.
