PHI Group are looking to recruit numerous general operatives to build it's retaining wall structures. Locations are: Dunfermline, Harewood & Cheltenham.

Phi Group are recruiting for Retaining wall installers/operatives to work in the below regions;

  • Dunfermline (Scotland)
  • Leeds
  • Cheltenham

This role is site based and you will be required to attend sites nationwide. But will be normally working in one of our three regions based in Dunfermline, Leeds and Cheltenham

Purpose of the Role

Undertake general site duties to install the various retaining wall systems in accordance with company procedure and management.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Operations

  • Work safety with awareness and take action if you identify a hazard;
  • Don't walk by
  • Ensure all work is carried out right, first time.
  • Plant your work so that it is efficient.
  • Work effectively.
  • Inspect and ensure that all plant and equipment is suitable for purpose.
  • Complete site paperwork where relevant.
  • Ensure that necessary resources are available to carry out the works.

Customer

  • Develop relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

People

  • Safety must take priority; If you feel unsafe or you see others put themselves in harms way, stop work.
  • Support the Supervisor.
  • Contribute to improving the business.

Finance

  • Be aware of the financial consequences of your decisions.
  • Reduce waste.

Experience/Skills/Qualifications/Personal Attributes

Minimum

  • CSCS card holder.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • English speaking.

Desirable

  • CPCS categories; Excavator, Telehandler, Ride on Roller, Dumper, Slinger/Signaller, or Banksman.
  • Experience working on retaining walls/geotechnical solutions or groundworks projects.

Personal Attributes

  • Good communication skills.
  • Team player and able to work alone.
  • Outgoing and friendly.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic.
